Regaine and special circumstances
For best results, it’s recommended that you allow your hair to dry completely naturally. There are a number of reasons for this. One of the key things to remember is that drying the solution with a hair dryer will reduce the effectiveness levels.
This clearly wouldn’t be ideal! In general terms, it’s understood that there are some concerns associated with exposing your hair to high temperatures. In effect, you could risk damaging your hair.
So natural drying is best and will also allow Regaine to be most useful. But, if you’re in a rush, there’s probably no harm in using a hair dryer once in a while.
Taking part in sports
There’s no particular reason why the solution should have an impact on your ability to exercise, or to take part in sports. But you should be aware that getting your hair wet could mean that the product will be washed away, if it has only just been applied.
Such a course of action will clearly mean that it won’t be as effective as it’s intended to be. So what’s the answer? Basically, you should make sure that the Regaine liquid has dried properly before leaping into a swimming pool.
After you’ve been in the pool, you don’t need to apply the product again. In other words, you don’t need to make use of an extra dose. Simply wait until your next standard dose is due.
Hair dye
You’ll have noticed above that we stated that Regaine is not a cure for greying hair. Although that may be unfortunate, it’s not really surprising! If you are looking for help with hair that’s getting grey then your best approach may be hair dye. Fortunately, there’s no problem with using hair dye.
In fact, where possible it makes sense to stick pretty much to your normal hair care routine. You may want to let hairdressers (or other hair care professionals) know that you are using the product, however, so that they are aware of the need to be that little bit more gentle when dealing with your hair.
